Text-Driven Generative Framework for Multimodal Visual and Haptic Texture Synthesis

A novel text-to-haptic generative framework combining Stable Diffusion for visual texture generation, AttributeNet for perceptual attribute prediction, and interpolation-based vibrotactile signal synthesis. The framework improves haptic attribute prediction accuracy and is validated through a user study.

Preprocessing of 2.5D Facial Images from Stereo Camera

Developed a robust preprocessing pipeline for 2.5D facial depth maps generated from a stereo camera. The method includes median filtering, Laplacian smoothing, hole filling, cropping, and alignment to improve mesh quality, reduce noise, correct depth discontinuities, and prepare the face region for reliable 3D feature extraction and recognition.
